Discover STEM

La Roche College
Saturday, Oct. 13
8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

By attending Discover STEM, you and your family will get to explore majors in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and experience La Roche College firsthand. You’ll have the chance to participate in STEM activities, eat in the dining hall, hear from current students and staff representatives and explore STEM majors. Students will also receive a free T-shirt.

Discover STEM is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The event includes:

  • Hands-on STEM workshops for high school students
  • Panels to explore careers in STEM and how to get there for students and their parents
  • Information sessions on college access and financial aid for parents

STEM SAVVY

We are proud to support STEM Savvy at La Roche College May 12 from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm!

Who: 6th -8th grade students and a parent/guardian.

Cost: $5 per person includes light breakfast, lunch and a T-shirt for the students.

STEM Savvy is a science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) program combining workshops and hands-on learning. “Savvy” means there also will be a great opportunity to develop interest, excitement and self-confidence in exploring careers in the STEM leaders of tomorrow.

A special session for parents and families will show how to help and prepare their students for their paths to college and career.
